The maintenance division of the Mistoria Group have just finalised their involvement in an exciting and unique children’s soft play area and restaurant project. Monolo’s, is based in Cheetham Hill and was formerly utilised as a bathroom warehouse. Contracted to undertake a number of tasks in renovating the upmarket children’s centre and healthy eatery, Mistoria Maintenance were involved in completing the joinery, plastering and plumbing in both kitchen and bathroom areas, in addition to building seating for more than 100 diners.
The ambitious project, overseen by owner Zeeshan Sheikh and his brother, was initiated to fill a ‘gap in the market’ for a contemporary space in which both children and adults can relax, with the high specification development featuring multi-coloured faux leather American style seating booths with in-built TV screens on which to watch the children at play, a modern play space for older children, free Wi-Fi and an interactive toddler area.
“With nieces, nephews and our own children, we have often struggled to find a venue suitable for everybody.” said Zeeshan. “Monolo’s is a modern, fun and educational establishment for children, but is also suitable for adults who wish to unwind, enjoy good food and be able to watch their children playing safely. I have known project manager, Cassim Kaaba, for a long time and we are delighted with what he has achieved on our behalf. Securing the best team for the job was imperative and we knew the Mistoria Group would deliver.”
