Manchester based property investment company, the Mistoria Group, has today announced its decision to donate 3% of all company profits to charitable causes from the beginning of 2014. The generous gesture has been instigated by company founder and CEO, Mish Liyanage, who, together with his company employees, has supported a number of national and international charities through various fundraising activities since the Mistoria Group was formed in 2009.
The University of Salford Netball Team was sponsored by the Mistoria Group at the end of 2012, enabling the Netball Club to raise much needed funds for their own chosen charity, Help for Heroes. In addition, the Mistoria Group donate regularly to Polio Children (to assist children affected by polio in developing countries) and the Manchester Buddhist Centre, as well as a variety of further worthy initiatives. Future donations will also be made to a number of charities based in Sri Lanka, Mish Liyanage’s country of origin, with which he maintains strong links.
“We are delighted to be able to support a range of extremely worthwhile causes and look forward to increasing our involvement in these charities – and others – in 2014.” said Mish Liyanage. “The Mistoria Group is enjoying sustained and significant growth at the current time and we welcome the opportunity to share this success, in supporting and encouraging these organisations in their fundraising efforts.”
