Manchester based property investment company, the Mistoria Group, have today announced the details of their involvement in an ambitious five year project to ‘bring football back to the city centre’.  The ‘renovation’ division of the company has been contracted to refurbish a sizeable, disused site in central Manchester, for the provision of a number of indoor five-a-side football pitches.

The project, led by entrepreneurs and keen five-a-siders, Sammy Box and Moyen Ahmed, is to be directed primarily towards the corporate market, with the venue fully equipped with an upmarket bar, lounge area and on site facilities for corporate events.  Without a similar indoor facility currently available in central Manchester, it is hoped that individuals and businesses will be encouraged to make use of the venue after work or during busy lunchtimes, filling a much needed gap in the market.

The Mistoria Group have been contracted to manage the refurbishment side of the project, and with the opening scheduled for June of this year, the company is working to a very tight timeframe.  “We are delighted to have secured this contract for the Mistoria Group and our subcontractors, and be involved in such a worthwhile and prestigious project.” said operations manager, Cassim Kaaba.  “We are working extremely hard to ensure that the launch is successful and that the site will be ‘match-fit’!”

Commenting on the project, Sammy Box said, “When undertaking the build, we were looking for someone with a proven track record and a flexible approach to design and build.  The Mistoria Group came highly recommended in this regard.  The conversion of the facility has been overseen by project manager, Cassim Kaaba.  With each challenge the building has thrown-up to date, we have found Cassim to be equal to the task, with solutions that have kept the project on track, whilst continuing to fulfil the original brief in terms of build quality.”
