AprilGroup Administrator

As administrator across all divisions of the Mistoria Group, April Calderbank’s days are both varied and demanding. Luckily, diversity is one of the favourite aspects of her exciting new role.

At just 25 years old, April Calderbank has much pressure upon her as an administrator across the divisions at the Mistoria Group. Previously working as an administrator for the lettings division she  is now  tasked with a far more involved position. The company is enjoying rapid growth and in line with this, April’s role is to provide assistance to those working in the Estate Agents Maintenance and Accountancy departments. “Variety is good!” laughs April. “Yes, the role is pressured, but I never know for which department I will be working until I come in on that particular day! No two days are ever quite the same and that’s the part I love about the job.”

Fortunately, pressure is something that April takes in her stride. “I do work well with a deadline looming and that’s one of my key strengths.” she says. “Good organisation and people skills are essential for this role.”

April joined the Mistoria Group in 2010, following the completion of her degree in media at the University of Manchester. Having worked in the retail industry on a part time basis whilst studying, April had gained excellent experience within the customer services field, skills she happily brought with her.

April’s position is presently part time, but one that April hopes will eventually become a full time job. “It is such an enjoyable working environment here.” says April. “The team all work extremely well together and there is a good sense of collaboration. Essentially, the company is doing well because we all have the same vision and crave success for the Mistoria Group.”

And April is also setting her sights on the future and her own personal development, with the Mistoria Group central to that. “In terms of my own future, I wish to continue progressing here and take on further responsibility. Learning more about the separate divisions and the way in which they operate, will enable me to get to know the company in its entirety and decide upon which area of the business I would like to focus on going forward. There are opportunities here if you are willing to work hard and I am looking forward to improving my skills and growing my knowledge.”
